PARVEZ LATIF QURESHI

PARVEZ LATIF QURESHI brings with him 45 years of experience of handling planning, architecture, and management projects. He is a graduate of Massachusetts Institute of Technology in 1979. He has handled projects both nationally and internationally and is a recipient of a number of awards the most notable being the ARCASIA Award in Architecture for ‘Conservation of Multan Services Club’. His contributions to planning works include the design of some of the largest real estate land development schemes in Pakistan, industrial estates, and integrated area development and infrastructure studies. His expertise in building projects in seismic zones and in handling pre-engineered structures and prefabricated/modular structure design systems has been demonstrated in numerous projects undertaken by UNICON ranging from Expo Centre Lahore to school buildings in the northern areas. He has provided consultancy services to numerous international agencies such as UNICEF, UNDP World Bank, and the Agha Khan Foundation. He is recognized as doing pioneering work for Sikh religious tourism in Pakistan and was responsible for the conservation and restoration of Gurdwara Janam Asthan Sri Ram Das, Chooni Mandi, Lahore.

Mr. Parvez Qureshi was awarded Arcasia Award for Architectural Excellence in Conservation (Honorary Mention) for Restoration of Services Club, Multan in 1999-2000. In 2012, the Design Build Institute of America (DBIA) awarded him with the Design Build Honor Award.
